Just be careful. Your in the limelight more with the whole press stuff, it wouldn’t take much for them to take something minor if not insignificant and blow it all out of proportion. S o just be careful.

Every dog alleviates some stress and anxiety. It's a dog. That's what they do. But there's more to being a service dog than just the fact that somebody likes having their dog around.

As someone who knows people who struggle with REAL disabilities and the difficulties of se rvice animals, this is a shitty move and you should know it.

Do you also have a handicap placard for an ingrown hair? Maybe you take the handicap chairs at the theater for a little more leg room? I bet at the hospital you just grab that empty wheel chair sitting there, huh? I mean, who could these trivial actions be hurting, right??

Would you be okay with either of these? If not you shouldn’t be okay with pretending your dog is a service animal just to get special treatment.

All the stuff that has gone on fairly recently with people pretending their Peacocks are service animals should be enough to illustrate the issue with falsifying it. Sure, you may feel that Toby is harmless, but the simple act of taking advantage of a system designed to help people that actually need it runs the risk of taking that help away from them.

I’m also fairly certain it’s straight up illegal to lie about needing a service dog, but I guess you are more than capable of figuring that out on your own.

I ran out of stars to award your comments for logic and intellectual precision about half way down the thread.

The degree to which some claim to be offended is only a little surprising, the fact that nobody calling you out seems able to understand your argument is frankly horrifying. I am embarrassed for some of you.
